A HOME LOST
Documentary film “The Lost House” will tell the stories of people whose homes were destroyed by the Russian invaders. The film authors visited the Kyiv region after the Russian army occupation in spring 2022 — Borodyanka, Bucha, Irpin, Makariv, Andriivka, Babyntsi, Pylypovychy, Dmytrivka, Fasova — and collected the stories of people and their losses due the war.
Nina Isinchuk and Anna Petrushenko from Andriivka showed their houses destroyed by the Russian military. Priest Borys Kovalchuk from Pylypovychy; widow of a hero from Babyntsi Olena Lyubenok; Yuriy Shvets from Irpin; head of Borodyanka center of socio-psychological rehabilitation Lyudmila Boyko and other subjects told how they survived and plan to rebuild ruined. The viewer will see how flourishing towns and villages look like after the occupation.
